DR. SOOK YIN
Dr. Yin, who is originally from Malaysia, has been practising medicine in the Cayman Islands for over twenty years and is the founder of Seven Mile Medical Clinic. She is registered with both the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom and the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council. Dr. Yin trained at Queens University, Belfast. She has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She continued her training at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Belfast City Hospital. Her special interests include preventative health, women’s life-long health management, youth obesity and geriatric medicine.
In addition to English, Dr. Yin is also fluent in Malay and Cantonese. Dr. Yin is actively involved in the community particularly with the Cayman Islands Cancer Society, the Cayman Heart Fund, the Cayman Islands Swimming Association and the Youth Obesity Taskforce. In recognition of her services to medicine and the community she was awarded an official MBE in June 2012, a Cayman Islands Certificate of Honour, and a Paul Harris Fellow award from the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise.
DR. BEATRIZ ESTEBAN
Dr. Esteban is a specialist in Family Medicine (GP Register, UK), Aviation Medicine, Diving Medicine and also has a diploma in Hyperbaric Medicine. She completed her medical education at Complutense University (Madrid-Spain), and then joined the Spanish Air Force as a Medical Officer. After training at the Air Force Hospital, she gained her specialization in Family Medicine and Aviation Medicine. She worked for the Air Force for 17 years, achieving the grade of Mayor, and then moved to England where she completed a fellowship at the Internal Medicine Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (which is associated with Cambridge University) In addition to English, Dr. Esteban speaks fluent Spanish.
DR. SARAH CUFF
Dr. Cuff grew up in the Cayman Islands and returned to the island in 2016 as a General Practitioner. She was awarded her medical degree with honours from the University of Bristol, UK in 2011. She has a BSc in International Health with interest in dengue fever prevention. Before returning to the Cayman Islands, she practised for five years in the U.K. and also gained a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She has experience working with children and in palliative care. She has recently completed an ultrasound course and expects to extend this into her clinical practice shortly. She is currently the Medical Director for the Special Olympics Cayman Islands and is involved in supporting the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
Kristen joined the Clinic in May 2010. She trained in Chicago, Illinois and completed her internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly known as the American Dietetic Association), is registered as a Dietitian in the United States and the Cayman Islands, and is a Caribbean Certified Diabetes Educator. She is also educated in Mediator Release Testing for food sensitivities (the most reliable testing available).
Kristen has clinical experience with various nutritional issues including diabetes care, obesity, heart disease, cholesterol, hypertension, sports nutrition and general healthy eating practices. Kristen volunteers with the Cayman Heart Fund, Cayman Islands Diabetes Association, Children’s Health Task Force and the Get Active program.
DR. EDUARDO BARROSO
Dr. Eduardo Barroso is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specializing in Cosmetic surgery. Dr. Barroso is part of an exclusive group of plastic surgeons that hold dual board certification by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Barroso speaks Spanish & English.
Dr. Nyali Taylor is a vascular surgeon. She has dual degrees in Medicine and Master of Public Health from Drexel College of Medicine. Dr. Taylor completed her general surgery training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital.
Dr. Taylor’s interests are in the treatment of all venous and arterial diseases, the assessment and care of chronic extremity wounds, as well as public health initiatives. She offers safe, contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Specifically, Dr. Taylor provides care in the following areas:

» Open cerebrovascular interventions
» Haemodialysis access
» Minimally invasive venous interventions
» Assessment for advanced wound care

Dr. Ofer Sagiv M.D., F.A.C.C., R.P.V.I.
Dr. Sagiv is a visiting Cardiologist who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, CT Angiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and trained in interpretation of Cardiac MRI.
Dr. Sagiv’s areas of focus are screening and prevention of cardiac and peripheral vascular disease as well as diagnosis, management and surveillance of abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, lower extremity arterial disease and venous disease.
He acquired his medical degree from Columbia University/ Ben Gurion University of the Negev – Medical School for International Health and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Sagiv served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut and was appointed the director of vascular imaging. In 2015, Dr. Sagiv moved on to the underserved northwestern part of Connecticut to develop a vascular imaging program as a Yale University School of Medicine Affiliate; a position he currently holds to date.
He is a published author and has presented numerous abstracts in national and international meetings including the American College of Cardiology annual conferences. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. Dr. Sagiv has a keen interest in vascular medicine, valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology.
