Vascular Care

Dr. Taylor treats venous and arterial diseases, as well as assessing and caring for chronic extremity wounds. She offers safe, contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Specifically, she provides care in the following areas:

  • Endovascular arterial interventions
  • Open peripheral arterial surgery
  • Hemodialysis access
  • Minimally invasive venous interventions
  • Assessment of wound care
  • Wound dressing for diabetic foot, pressure and arterial ulcers

If you need to see our vascular surgeon, you will be referred by your GP. The most common reasons for a referral are if you are having pain in your legs, swelling or sores that don’t heal. Additionally, if you are considered at high risk for vascular disease, i.e. you are a smoker, diabetic and/or have high blood pressure you may also be referred to our vascular doctor.

Common types of vascular disease include:

  • Varicose Veins
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Deep vein thrombosis
