The best way to observe all the holidays around this time of year is to celebrate at home with the people who live with you. Staying home is the best way to protect yourself and others.

If organizing or attending an event, consider whether the event is outdoors or indoors. If possible, organize outdoor events. Reduce the number of guests at an event especially if it is held indoors.

Organize events to allow for social distancing and discourage hugging, kissing and shaking hands with people outside of your household or “bubble”.

Transmission of viruses such as COVID-19 and the flu is possible through droplets in the air when people shout or sing so try and avoid singing and shouting when at Holiday parties.

Remember to always try and observe social distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands and avoid touching your face.

While it may not always be possible try to practice the 3 Cs:
Avoid spaces that are enclosed
Avoid spaces that are Crowded
Avoid spaces that involve Close Contact
